Note – I won’t use any D&D “Official” images even from the past – likely a fake DMCA takedown might be abused – just FYI this is a PRIVATELY hosted blog – I have free speech to the letter of the law – any DMCA abuse you’ll get sued back likely because it’ll cost time my lawyer (someone I know) will turn into MONEY – what I will cite (besides memes going everywhere) is images from RPGs I love and trust – no I don’t imply they are with me/support me/pay me – just – My opinion – a good alternative… So I call “Fair Use” all images in question.

I’ll say again-

Wizards of the Coast has gone WOKE –

now it is time for them to go BROKE.

Boy, aren’t the 2020’s FUN!? Sarcasm…
There’s so much SHIT being pushed with a firehose it’s hard to keep up.

However the FUN now is that the makers of Dungeons and Dragons have announced tons of plans to pander to “Diversity” with their game to cater to screeching Social Justice Warriors. Various problematic stuff like the (stupid) idea Orcs = Blacks and Drow = Blacks (stupider) – want to get out that file and file off the rough edges to make it nice and BLAND to ram down the biggest mouth out there.

Oh, and what if anyone dislikes the old school stuff that might not be “Politically Correct” by today’s flaky, crazy standards?


Welp, there’s not like there’s any TTRPG out there on par with Dungeons and Dragons. Not like there’s Dungeon Crawl Classics, Labyrinth Lord, Lamentations of the Flame Princess – Cha’alt , or the cool Sci-Fi adult game “Alpha Blue”… To name a few out of MANY…

And – really – do you have a “Marketing Research” person on staff who doesn’t have a “Social Justice” chip on his (or her, Hir, Sh/he….gawdz) shoulder…? Coz someone half worth their salt would have told you about “OrcGate” and how it FLOPPED. EVERYONE rammed the “Orkz is Bwaks! Hallp us! Waaysist!” cries down their throats and told them to go home to Mommy… The SJWs ran, not doubled down…

Hey, I am for bending rules – IF you, your DM, your players WANT it – just don’t Force it as the rule…don’t pretend the past doesn’t exist…

Coz this rant against censorship and pandering in games is not to preserve some of the kooky baggage from old games… Like even going PC are you going to remove the “Chinasaur” based monsters – Rust Monster for instance… fearing someone from Hong Kong that made those mutant figures will sue? Like you guys did over a neat fantasy toy soldier game – “Dragonriders of the Styx” and made them melt faces off Nagas?

And you want what – RAINBOW UNICORN SNOWFLAKES sent to RPG sessions as cheap therapy to play the game and somehow become players? These are people the stereotype is they have $100K debt for a “Gender Studies” degrees – are toxic adult babies that proudly wear dubious “Mental disorders” and no one in their sane mind would hire them. Even the worst stereotype of old “Gamer Geeks” tended to be the best computer engineers, janitors, night clerks, truckers (and doctors, lawyers, artists, writers) out there… These SJW “Woke” snowflakes are a level of person somehow LOWER than the fragile pathetic character Tom Hanks played in that scare flick “Mazes and Monsters”… Let’s get to that…

“The scariest monsters are in your mind…” – one cool quote from a dumb sh-t LIE of a movie that got SO many D&D books burned. The Snowflake SJWs will make it look like a single match and “Fundies” want another witch to burn, someone to blame when a famous minister is gay or perverted or steals millions…

The movie was a stupid bit of hype propaganda – based largely on the “Steam Tunnels” thing again something near totally <> D&D – but the media kept repeating it “Zombie Lie” style (Bill Maher coined that term) again and again – each time the industry has been threatened.

See? Lots of Baggage. Sure it’s weird elves living underground are black (due to EVIL… Eeevilllll….) and people on a world that’s been a desert for thousands of years are WHITE…. (but have good tans except when Brom paints sexy chalk white ones…) So what? It’s not even racism its the “Vancian” feel.

Read this! You’ll think it’s a story collection based on someone’s “Dungeons and Dragons” adventures… But whoops! D&D is based on this hugely. IMO > Tolkien. As sue happy as they’ve been, VERY lucky Vance/his kin were not as litigious.


A “D&D” world is NOT “The Middle ages with more monsters and magic” – it’s meant to be thousands of years in the future. Civilizations have risen and fallen thousands of times, hundreds at least. The world isn’t on the entropic stage (Dying Earth, Zothique, Urth of the New Sun) yet but the green hills have had so much laughter and tears over the aeons… That’s why there are “Dungeons” full of crazy creatures. Why ‘races’ can mix – half elves, half orcs – Dragons with EVERYTHING…. Because some “Wizard Lord” 10,000+ years back got bored and horny and twisted man into all sorts of creature from mythology and his sick imagination… Why “Dungeons” are everywhere even outside a middle ages/early renaissance village and no one is freaking out.

Not that D&D has advertised that connection much – they got a big lawsuit from the Tolkien estate and surely there are those that lick the coffin of Jack Vance and Robert E Howard… But the inspiration is there – right down to the Magic system…

And the baggage distracted me.
My point is it’s FAR better FAR more respectable FAR more moral to take censors head on than capitulate. Gygax fought them bare knuckled – waiting then making sure they couldn’t edit for ‘time’ an interview (think “Homer Badman”) so he could get his voice out and pointed how much of a failure he was if he was the “Devil’s Minion” due to the lowering effect via statistics the game had on negative behavior.

This is how SJWs, modern “Hipsters of HATE” spend their $ or rather their parent’s $… They bought a NEW car and NEW fursuits and NEW sledgehammers and destroyed said car to protest an Alaskan race or something… Think the car company sponsored it coz LOTS of customers in Alaska… Pathetic to watch them – no they weren’t destroying it slowly, they could barely lift the hammers after a few swings. IF you – any company – cater to them they work multiple Starbuck’s jobs to pay interest on their gender studies degree. IF they somehow earn $ they throw it away on sh-t fake causes, save the GAY whales and give it to a charlatan and/or need $ for legal fees after a disruptive protest.

You modify the game to cater to whiny SJWs either trying to con you for $ or protesting with their ‘fashionably radical friends’ – it’s not just at “Better be a private company, coz Investors should be able to SUE you for stupid…” – it’s worse than that… You open the door for the next Fundamentalist push and casual Govern-NOT censorship. Back in the 80s they raved how evil Dungeons and Dragons was and tried Chick Tract style to connect it to Satanism and Child Molestation. Oh, and the news LOVED it – sure beat things like the Booooring “S&L scandal” that cost the country big time and the lost $ went into the “NeoCon” agenda… Too bad AIDS killed far more people (including straight, non-degenerate) weekly than any legit satanists did the entire century and most kids were more in danger at home and that was microscopic.

Make it clear we’ll have rounds of censorship, ‘official’ 3rd party boards (like comics code authority) that demand $ and can censor for any/no reason – if you cater to these “Hipsters of Hate”.

So I’m calling a full BOYCOTT of new “Dungeons and Dragons”.
No – no one throw away their existing stuff.
But – don’t buy NEW stuff. There’s a shitload of stuff existing customers have – why waste $ that’ll be bland but stanky TURDS meant to feed “Social Justice Warriors” – who won’t BUY it either… They just want others to change to then insult and laugh at them – pure adult baby CryBullies.

It’s got a “Meat Grinder” phase where the players start with THREE Lv0 characters – they play the one they get, not make up some “Mary Sue” – they MIGHT have ONE of them survive – then they get points and get to continue playing. If it’s like a public library, school, mall you play in – do a “Meat Grinder” on all players – the SJWs can’t handle not being in control and will bail rather than having their Mommy named “Karen” shriek at administrators about how evil you were to them.

We should try alternative systems or stick with the OLD system.

Oh, and upcoming for a while – my “Not F.A.T.A.L. but Serious” – no it’s not another 3rd party RPG system but a sourcebook – FREE – and will be on my webpage ASAP.

A – gatekeep SJWs out of your games – really – Tom Hanks – Mazes and Monsters – want some pathetic snowflake in your group?
B – ADD some NASTY aspects to your RPG campaign. More sexism like slave girls being auctioned. Direct connection to Drow and their skin, say another Drow (not Drizzt) is trying to escape – and the characters protect her while she goes to a few shrines and plays.. Then she’s redeemed and turns into a LIGHT SKINNED elf since she’s GOOD now…
C – don’t turn every campaign into a “Vile” one – just add a few tiny things that make the SNOWFLAKES CRY

Do that and all WoTC gets for their pandering is LOST SALES and all the Snowflakes get for their braying and CryBullying is they made things WORSE…(by their snowflake standards)

Dungeons and Dragons changes hands all the time. A few years of “Woke” they’ll be out the door and bought by someone else. We’ll likely see high gloss classic style modules complete with newly made Chinasaurs, that Ral Partha warrior lady with no top on, etc. Or they can waste the trees and plastic and wait to be bought out again…
